Combined GPU/RAM/Mosfet waterblock for graphics card from the AMD / Ati Radeon HD6970 and 6950 series with 2048 MB of VRAM (Cayman XT GPU) in reference design.
This waterblock combines the functions of a GPU, VRAM and Mosfet waterblock in one elegant and slim waterblock.
The aquagratix for HD6970 and 6950 was developed based on the nVidia GTX 460/470/480 waterblock. The cooling performance and flow rates were improved significantly compared to the previous generation. The micro-structure above the GPU was made larger and the channel depth was increased by 30% for even less flow resistance. The cooling plate now has a thickness of 9mm and the cooling channels are now also covering the VRM modules, which is especially important when overclocking.
All mounting threads are equipped with spacers to prevent the graphics card from bending and to make mounting as easy as possible.
The contact surfaces are polished for optimal contact and a high performance thermal pad is included for the VRM area.
The waterblock is equipped with the connection terminal from the GTX 480 and GTX470 waterblock made from Delrin. It is mounted with 3 screws at the side and offers the possibility to connect fittings from both sides. To seal the unused connection threads two screw plugs are included. The connection threads are G1/4" in size. The connection terminal can be replaced with the twinConnect direct connection kit for Crossfire operation (not included, Item numbers 17110 respectively 17117).
